The Freeland Federal Park and Game Reserve is now open in Freeland!!! The entire park is 70 tiles wide and 90 tiles long!!! It consists of 252 landmarks!!! Can you imagine such a thing?! It all fits together seemlessly as one huge landmark for your city!!! Brought to you by Redsneezy & Sons Construction Co., Inc. [a division of BBR Enterprises], the SimDepartment of the Interior, and the Freeland City Government. Special thanks go out to all the architects that donated paints, props, and details for this endeavor.

Welcome to the Freeland Federal Park & Game Reserve. This new, simfederally funded park is the brainchild of Freeland's own Big Bad Red. It is the largest multi-tile building ever endevoured upon. Amazingly enough, the entire park is a 70 tiles wide and 90 tile long and is comprised of 252 5x5 landmarks. Enjoy!!!

Due to obvious size constraints we are not able to offer the entire park for download at one time. The entire file size reaches about 180 MB. For your convenience we are going to offer parts of the park for download every week. This week we are featuring the Shopping Center.

Directions: In order to use these landmark files, you'll need to:

  • Unzip the compressed folder that you downloaded.
  • Copy and Paste the individual folders inside the unzipped folder to the following directory:

C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 3000 Unlimited\Apps\Plugins\

  • IMPORTANT: DO NOT under any circumstances change any names of any files or any folders and/or take any of the *.PIN or *.DAT files out of their respective folders or this will NOT work.
  • The next time you enter any SimCity game those landmarks that comprise the Welcome Center will be available for you to use. A placement chart is included in the zip file.

Because of the size constraints that have been imposed on us because of the shear size of this park, we cannot put it all up at once. Currently we are predicting that it will take approximately 6 months to make the whole thing available, assuming that we change every other week to give everybody an opprotunity to download it.
